Lucy Doswell is known for creating fresh and timeless interiors with a mix of contemporary elements and classic design. She specializes in designing sophisticated yet comfortable spaces with a flair for the unexpected that are layered with antiques, fine art, and accessories. Previously, she honed her skills in the trade as an interior designer at Ashley Whittaker Design and EPiC Design. After living in New York City for almost eighteen years, Lucy, her husband and their two children relocated to her native hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Lucy Doswell Interiors is a boutique, full service interior design firm with an office in Charlotte and projects all over. Lucy’s work, as well as her room for the Kips Bay Palm Beach 2023 show house, has been featured by Veranda, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Town & Country, Forbes, Southern Living and The Wall Street Journal. Her work has also been featured in “Blue and White Done Right: The Classic Color Combination for Every Decorating Style” by Hudson Moore for Schumacher and the forthcoming book “Interior Design Master Class: 100 Rooms: Lessons from the Finest Designers on the Art of Home” by Carl Dellatore for Rizzoli. The firm is currently working on and has completed projects, both residential and commercial, in New York City, Long Island, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington D.C., North Carolina, Tennessee, California, Massachusets, Florida, Alabama and Texas.
